Some pics from the remembrance service at
3C show ground today. It was, as we expected, very moving. The horses all behaved impeccably, they stood for over an hour whilst we sang hymns, the national anthem and listened to an address about the war horses of WW1. They were even all well behaved during the last post.
A lovely tribute to the 900,000 horses/mules and donkeys who died at the front in the war efforts. The service ended with a parade of those on horseback – led by a retired cavalry horse.
